Five years ago, the idea of The Wayward Hairdresser was born out of a love for creativity and a passion for making people feel beautiful. Kelly, our visionary founder, had a dream of a salon that wasn’t just about haircuts and color, but about building relationships and fostering a sense of belonging. With a few chairs, a lot of heart, and the support of our wonderful Crown Heights, Brooklyn neighbors, The Wayward Hairdresser came to life.
